Thomas L. Hughes (January 28 1884 - November 1 1961) born in Coal Creek Colorado USA was a right-handed pitcher for the New York Highlanders (1906-07 and 1909-10) and Boston Braves (1914-18). He was also the brother of former major league pitcher Ed Hughes. He helped the Braves win the 1914 World Series. He led the National League in Games (50) Saves (9) and Games Finished (22) in 1915 and Won-Loss percentage (.842) in 1916.
