Walter John Monk Dubiel (February 12 1918 - October 23 1969) was an American professional baseball player a right-handed pitcher in the Major Leagues for the New York Yankees Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs. The native and lifelong resident of Hartford Connecticut stood 6 feet tall and weighed 190 pounds . Dubiel pitched for 14 seasons (1941-1954) in professional ball and spent five full seasons and part of two others in the Majors between 1944 and 1952.
